In an effort to establish a structured body that would strengthen and support Cyprus\u2019s development trajectory, the Association of Large Investment Projects was founded in 2013.<\/p>

Its objective is to promote issues related to the economic, business, social and environmental development of the country.<\/p>

The Association is a member of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and represents companies that invest in and develop some of the most significant projects in Cyprus.<\/p>

Membership is open to legal entities and individuals involved in the development of projects with a value exceeding \u20ac50 million.<\/p>

The Association\u2019s 16 members come from across the entire spectrum of the Cypriot economy, representing projects with a total value exceeding \u20ac8 billion.<\/p>

Its portfolio includes high-standard, large-scale developments such as golf courses, casinos, major mixed-use and integrated residential developments, universities, medical centres, rehabilitation centres, technology parks, research centres and large tourist resorts.<\/p>

The vision of the Association of Large Investment Projects is to contribute to establishing Cyprus as a regional business hub and a leading destination for large-scale investments.<\/p>

Through a responsible and consistent approach, the Association of Large Investment Projects has played a pivotal role in promoting and implementing integrated and complex developments, extending their scope beyond urban centres and into rural areas.<\/p>

At the same time, it has contributed significantly to the expansion of Strategic Land Uses, as well as to the introduction of urban planning incentives that enhance investment attractiveness.<\/p>

The Association has also played an active role in public dialogue, supporting the establishment of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and initiatives that upgrade the country\u2019s tourism sector.<\/p>
